Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 September 2026

These terms cover the Amethyst network of Discord apps: Donut Verify, Global Schematics, Donut Server Trust and Amethyst Team Bot, and the verification website at verify.aerialdesign.org (together, “the Service”). The Service is run by the Amethyst team (“we”, “us”).

Amethyst is a community project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to DonutSMP, Mojang Studios, Microsoft or Discord. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios.

1. Agreeing to these terms

By adding any Amethyst app to a Discord server or your account, or by using any of its commands, buttons or the verification website, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service. If you add an app to a server you manage, you also agree on behalf of that server that its members may use it.

2. What the Service does

The Service is free. It is run on a best-effort basis (see section 10).

3. Who can use it

You must be old enough to use Discord where you live (at least 13, and older in some countries), and you must follow Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Using DonutSMP-related features also means following DonutSMP’s own rules.

4. Your account and verification

You use the Service through your Discord account; there is no separate Amethyst account. When you verify:

5. Acceptable use

Don’t use the Service to:

We may investigate misuse and act on it (see section 11).

6. What you upload

You keep ownership of schematics, screenshots, descriptions and other material you submit (“your content”).

By submitting a schematic to Global Schematics you give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to store it, make renders and previews of it, show it in the library, and let anyone who can see the listing download it and build it in Minecraft, for as long as it is in the library. Global Schematics is a free library; don’t upload a build you want to sell or keep exclusive.

You confirm that you made the build or have the right to share it, and that sharing it doesn’t break anyone else’s rights. Submissions are reviewed by the Amethyst team and may be rejected or removed.

7. Using builds from the library

Builds in the library are shared by other members. You may download them and build them in Minecraft. We don’t check that builds work as described, are safe for your server’s rules, or were really made by the person who posted them. Use them at your own risk, and credit builders where you can.

8. Ratings and reports

Ratings of servers and schematics are the opinions of the members who gave them, not statements of fact by us. Server reports go privately to the Amethyst team; only reports the team confirms are counted publicly, and they are shown separately from ratings. We may remove ratings or reports that break these terms, and we don’t guarantee any score is accurate.

9. Other services we rely on

The Service works with Discord, the DonutSMP API and Cloudflare. Those services have their own terms, which also apply when you use them, and we aren’t responsible for them. See the Privacy Policy for what each receives.

10. Free service, no guarantees

The Service is provided free, on a best-effort basis. We don’t promise that it will always be available, that any feature will keep existing, or that verification, renders, ratings or listings will be accurate or complete. We may change, limit, pause or shut down any part of it at any time.

11. Suspension and removal

We may remove content, ban someone from submitting schematics, unlink a verified account, remove ratings or reports, or stop the Service working in a server, if we believe these terms have been broken or to protect the Service or its users. Server admins can remove the apps from their server at any time, and you can stop using the Service whenever you like.

12. Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON’T WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY RATING, REPORT, VERIFICATION OR BUILD IS ACCURATE, SAFE OR ORIGINAL.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost in-game items, currency, builds, data or trades, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to USD $100. Some places don’t allow these exclusions or limits; where that’s the case, they apply only as far as the law allows.

14. Responsibility for your use

If your content or your use of the Service causes a claim against us (for example, you upload someone else’s build and they complain), you agree to be responsible for it, to the extent the law allows.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where the operator of the Service resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here takes away rights you have under the consumer laws of the place you live.

16. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change when we do, and significant changes will be announced where reasonably possible. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

17. Contact and takedowns

Questions, and requests to take down content that infringes your rights: open an issue on this site’s GitHub repository. Issues are public, so don’t include personal details: give your Discord username and the listing name or ID, and we’ll follow up with you on Discord. You can also report a listing directly with its Report button or /schematic report.
